Chris Hansen ditches 'Primetime' screening after major fight

Chris Hansen went to watch Robert Pattinson's new movie Primetime but he left without seeing it.

The former To Catch a Predator host said that he was invited to A24's office for a private screening. However, he claimed that the studio asked him to sign an agreement before showing him the movie.

Hansen shared that the agreement asked him to give up rights connected to his name, image and brand.

He, however, also added that it could affect possible legal rights which is about the movie.

Because of this, Hansen said he could not sign the paper and the movie was not shown to him.

He called the agreement very restrictive and said he seen anything like it before.

A report from The Hollywood Reporter said Hansen was asked to sign an NDA before the screening as these agreements are common when people watch movies before their release.

They, moreover, usually stop viewers from sharing spoilers or other details.

Hansen went on to continue that his lawyers already looked at the NDA before he went to A24's office.

He also questioned why he needed to sign it when some other people had watched the movie without one.

Primetime stars Pattinson as journalist related to To Catch a Predator.
